The governance of the foundation is a led by a board of directors comprised of the VMS executive officers and the chairs of the VMS Investment and Awards Committees, the dean of the UVM College of Medicine and four additional at-large directors.

Staff

The Foundation’s executive leadership is provided by Stephanie Winters, who is the Program Administrator of the Physician Leadership, Vermont Medical Society Education and Reseaarch Foundation.  Stephanie is also the Deputy Executive Director at the Vermont Medical Society and Executive Director of the American Academy of Pediatrics Vermont Chapter, the Vermont Academy of Family Physicians, the Vermont Ophthalmological Society, Vermont Orthopaedic Society, the Vermont Psychiatric Association, the Vermont Society of Anesthesiologists and the American College of Surgeons Vermont Chapter.
